Custom Error Page & Offline Page

Avori features both a custom error page and a custom offline page matching the style of the template.

Custom error page

Almost none of the well-known template providers have a custom styled error page included in their template. As if the error itself wasn't bad enough already, it causes your visitors to land on the default Joomla! error page, styled as shown below.

To ease the pain of receiving an error, and improve the user experience on the error page, Avori is equipped with a custom error page.

Custom offline page

If you want to take your Joomla! site temporarily offline (for example to do maintenance on your website), you can do this by setting 'Site Offline' to 'Yes' in the Global Configuration of your Joomla! Administrator. By default, this shows the offline page as depicted below. Since all visitors to your website will temporarily land on this page, it becomes the most important page of your website for the duration of your maintenance. That is why we've made sure to create a good looking custom offline page for Avori. It even includes features such as the logo and tag line you've entered in the Joomla! Administrator!
