Using the quick installer

Take the steps below if you want your website to have the same layout, design and articles as our demo website. You could use this as a great starting point for your own website or learn from the methods we used to build it.

1. Download the latest version of the template via the download link we've sent to your email address after you purchased the product.
2. Extract / unpack the file (marked with '_extract_this_first') that you've downloaded.
3. Navigate to the folder of the Joomla! version you're using.
4. Unpack the appropriate file (the one marked '_quickinstall') found in that folder.
5. - Remote installation: if you want to develop the website on a remote webserver, then you should use an FTP program (for example: FileZilla) to upload the files from the '_quickinstall' archive to that server.
   - Local installation: if you want to develop your website on your own computer, then you have to set up your localhost so it can access the files you've just unpacked. Note that a local installation requires additional software such as XAMPP or WampServer which are beyond the scope of this tutorial.
6. Navigate to the directory - using an internet browser - where you put the files from the previous step in.
7. Walk through the Joomla! installer like you would during a normal Joomla! installation.
8. Don't forget to click the 'Install Sample Data' button when prompted (see the image below). Doing this will ensure that your database becomes exactly like the one used in our demo website.
9. After completing the installation you'll have a website that will look identical to our demo.

Due to copyright regulations, images displayed in our demo will not be included in the quick installer!
