Introduction
CMS is a system which helps Courier Companies Track and Bill Packets sent through them. This system starts from the time a Packet is arrives at the Branch Office, and works several steps till the bill of the Packets moved, is printed. Components
The CMS has the following components: Workstation
The user interface developed for Windows, runs on these workstations. These Workstations are connected to the Zonal Office Servers via LAN. They perform all the tasks on the Zonal Office Servers. Zonal Office Server
Each Zonal Office (and where else required) has a Local Server on the LAN. These servers are Linux boxes, running MySQL as RDBMS. These Servers are connected to the International Server via Normal Dial-up Internet, and replication data both ways (in and out) from the International Server. All the Zonal Servers and the International Server has the same data for Manifests, CNs, and their Tracking details. To keep time of all the Zonal Servers, each server runs a program that keeps its time in synchronization with the time on three Time Servers running Atomic Clocks. International Server
The International Server is also a Linux box running, MySQL. It receives data from all the Zonal Servers and replicates it to the other Zonal Servers. Replication
Each zonal server keeps track of all the data addition, updating and deletion activity on it with the name of the user doing the activity, and the current time and date. It then sends all of the activities performed by users, and not by the Replication Process to the International Server. The International Server keeps track of all the activities it receives, with the time and date and the Zonal Server doing the activity. Each Zonal Server also gets all the activities from the International Server which are not his.     Isp-xs uses a complete web based front end to work across different platforms and operating systems. A complete collection of easy to use screens provide administrators with an interface that makes possible all of the user management of ISP. Database
    Isp-xs supports connectivity to a variety of database via query language like SQL. These databases are selected, keeping in view the expected customer base of the ISP. All the billing records, user information and usage statistics are maintained by this part of the Customer Front-End
    Isp-xs also provides a customer web based front end that can be integrated in to the ISP's web site. This system provides user with the options of checking their complete accounting records including usage for the current and previous month, available balance and deposit status.     Asterisk is a complete PBX in software. It runs on Linux, BSD and MacOSX and provides all of the features you would expect from a PBX and more. Asterisk does voice over IP in many protocols, and can interoperate with almost all standards-based telephony equipment using relatively inexpensive hardware. Overview

    Protocol Support Asterisk supports a wide range of TDM protocols for the handling and transmission of voice over traditional telephony interfaces. Asterisk supports US and European standard signalling types used in standard business phone systems, allowing it to bridge between next generation voice-data integrated networks and existing infrastructure. Asterisk not only supports traditional phone equipment, it enhances them with additional capabilities. Using the Inter-Asterisk eXchange (IAX™) Voice over IP protocol, Asterisk merges voice and data traffic seamlessly across disparate networks. While using Packet Voice, it is possible to send data such as URL information and images in-line with voice traffic, allowing advanced integration of information. Asterisk provides a central switching core, with four APIs for modular loading of telephony applications, hardware interfaces, file format handling, and codecs. It allows for transparent switching between all supported interfaces, allowing it to tie together a diverse mixture of telephony systems into a single switching network.
    Platform Support Asterisk is primarily developed on GNU/Linux for x/86. It is known to compile and run on GNU/Linux for PPC along with OpenBSD, FreeBSD, and Mac OS X Jaguar. Other platforms and standards-based UNIX-like operating systems should be reasonably easy to port for anyone with the time and requisite skill to do so. Asterisk is available in Debian Stable (in version 1.0.7), and the current maintainership is done by a team, the Debian VoIP Team.
    Who created Asterisk? Asterisk was originally written by Mark Spencer of Digium, Inc. Code has been contributed from open source coders around the world, and testing and bug-patches from the community have provided invaluable aid to the development of this software.

    INQUE is an IP based Bandwidth Management Platform, with a simple but powerful and user friendly interface for Monitoring, Management, Configuration and Administration. INQUE Features
    Traffic Monitoring INQUE has a very powerful traffic Monitoring system. The Administrator can use this option to capture the IP traffic passing through INQUE, and view it in either the Simple Graphs Format or Advanced Collapsible List Format.
    The Sample can be analyzed using different filters and parameters, and in different formats. The Sample can be saved for future analysis and reference. The Sample can be exported to a text delimited format for advanced analysis. Configuration INQUE has two Configuration Modes.

    1. Simple Configuration Mode: In the Simple Configuration Mode CIR (Committed Information Rate) can be configured for IP Addresses by selecting IP Addresses from the Traffic Monitoring Reports. The allowed bandwidth can be further split between different Internet Services / Ports. No burst able bandwidth / MIR (Maximum Information Rate) can be defined. 2. Advanced (Multi Level) Configuration Mode: In the Simple Configuration Mode CIR (Committed Information Rate) can be configured for IP Addresses by selecting IP Addresses from the Traffic Monitoring Reports. The allowed bandwidth can be further split between different Internet Services / Ports. No burst able bandwidth / MIR (Maximum Information Rate) can be defined. The Advanced Configuration Mode provide with the following features:
    INQUE Monitoring / Reporting INQUE provides monitoring based on 10 seconds average of the Bandwidth Utilized, Total Packets Sent, Total Bytes Sent, Over Limit Packets, Pending Packets, Dropped Packets, Lended Packets (Bandwidth that other classes took while sharing the un-utilized bandwidth of this class) and Borrowed Packets (bandwidth that this class took from others classes while sharing their un-utilized bandwidth) for each class. The INQUE also provides historical graphs, plotting bandwidth used by each class, with a minimum average of five minutes. The graphs show trends for Daily. Weekly, Monthly and Yearly Bandwidth Utilization.
    Security INQUE has four levels of security based on users logged in using standard HTTP based authentication. Each users can has one of the following security levels, and each level included privileges of previous levels.

    Interface
    Management Interface INQUE has a Web Based Management Console. It works on standard HTTP Port 80, but a different port can be defined for Security reasons. Initial Configuration For first time installation, a serial console is available, which allows the Network Configuration of INQUE. Once INQUE is accessible by other hosts in the network, then its Web Based Console is to be used for further configuration. More Interfaces INQUE has one Fast Ethernet 100Mbps Interface built in.
